Domaine Eric et Joël Durand

Domaine Eric et Joël Durand

2 impasse de la Fontaine

CHÂTEAUBOURG

A family estate of 20 hectares, today run by two brothers, Eric and Joël.
It is located in the communes of Châteaubourg and Glun, in the south of the Saint-Joseph and Cornas appellation. The only red grape variety on the estate is Syrah.

The traditional vineyard, planted on steep granite slopes, is managed using sustainable agriculture.
The search for a perfect balance of the vine in its environment allows the maximum expression of the terroir through the grape variety, and the obtaining of an intense maturity of the grape indispensable for the elaboration of wines of great nobility.
The cultivation operations (pruning, disbudding, lifting, trimming and harvesting) are carried out manually. The wines are made with the utmost respect in order to reveal the personality of each individual, giving priority to finesse and elegance.
