La Terre Pimprenelle Garden
La Terre Pimprenelle is located in Ardèche, on Crussol plateau in Alboussière. The gardens are open year-round from sunrise.
Outstanding Garden
The garden was awarded Jardin Remarquable status in 2012, obtained the French national Ginkgo biloba collection in 2019, and is recognised by the Conservatory of Specialised Plant Collections.
The garden covers one hectare, and boasts 1,200 trees and bushes, including 600 different varieties.
It is formed around the golden ratio (ellipses, spirals, sequences and triangles). The number of specimens (trees, bushes, perennials, stones, etc.) is an allusion to the Fibonacci sequence, with the aim of creating a harmonious space brimming with positive energy. Plants and mineral matter are highly interrelated; minerals recount the history of the earth while plant species feed off them.
